How we work
A defined path for every matter, and fees agreed in writing before work begins.
Our approach
Every matter follows the same disciplined path.
- 01
Understand
We listen first, then establish the facts, the objective and the deadline.
- 02
Analyse
We test the facts against the law, the documents and the other side’s likely position.
- 03
Advise
A written recommendation with options, risks and a cost estimate.
- 04
Act
We draft, negotiate, file or appear, as set out in the agreed scope.
- 05
Report and close
Regular updates, a closing note and an organised file returned to the client.
How we engage
Every engagement begins with a written scope and fee agreement. We offer three models.
Monthly retainer
For businesses that need continuing access to counsel. A fixed monthly fee covers an agreed scope and response times.
Fixed fee
For defined work: a contract, a company formation or a stage of a case. The fee is agreed before work begins.
Hourly
For work whose scope cannot be fixed in advance. Time is billed at agreed hourly rates, with an estimate and regular statements.

How do I start?
Call us, write to us or send the enquiry form. We arrange an initial consultation to understand the matter and your objective.
What happens before you accept my matter?
We run a conflict-of-interest check and confirm identity. If we can act, we send a proposal and a written fee agreement. Work begins once it is signed.
How are your fees set?
In writing, before work begins, under one of three models: a monthly retainer, a fixed fee or hourly rates. Fees exclude VAT and third-party costs such as court and government fees.
